Why Sales?
Sales aligns with how I am motivated and how I work best:
I set measurable goals, continuously improve my approach, and want a career where my performance, the business I build, and the value I create are directly tied to my earning potential.
Just as importantly, I believe the relationship-driven side of sales corresponds directly with one of my strongest qualities: emotional intelligence. I pay close attention to how people communicate, listen for what matters to them, and change my approach depending on the person and situation. Effective selling is about more than presenting a product well; it requires understanding the customer, knowing their priorities and concerns, earning their trust, and explaining value in a way that matters to them.
I enjoy building real relationships and helping people feel understood, not just trying to convince them. The mix of competition, performance-based rewards, ongoing growth, and relationship-building is what confirms sales is the right career for me.
The Professional Selling Program at UCF is an opportunity for students who recognize their own capabilities while remaining humble enough to pursue guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback from experienced professionals. Through hands-on sales training, role-play exercises, professional development, networking, and mentorship, the program challenges students to strengthen their selling abilities and their confidence in fast-paced professional environments.
Beyond learning sales techniques, the program focuses on communication, adaptability, preparation, relationship-building, and the ability to create value for others. Students are expected to step outside of their comfort zones, learn from their mistakes, and continuously improve through practice and feedback. By combining classroom instruction with real-world interactions, the Professional Selling Program equips students to compete for strong career opportunities and to become more capable, intentional, and effective professionals.
I am looking for an entry-level sales opportunity where I can continue to learn, be challenged, and grow within an organization that values strong training, mentorship, integrity, and performance.
I am especially interested in medical devices, medtech, healthcare technology, and other technology-driven sales environments where I can develop strong product knowledge, understand the problems I’m helping customers solve, and build meaningful long-term relationships.
Extracurricular Activities
Intramural Football & Basketball
I am grateful to have close friends who have invited me to join their intramural teams, which I have always happily accepted. Playing team sports together has been a big part of my college experience and has given me memories I know I’ll look back on for years.
UCF Surf Club
I began surfing alongside my brother when I was only five years old, and it has remained a passion of mine ever since. Being part of the UCF Surf Club gives me the chance to continue something I’ve loved for most of my life with others who enjoy it just as much.
Crafts for a Cause: Youth Community Service Initiative
Through Crafts for a Cause, I led and organized young volunteers in creating more than 800 gratitude journals and gifts for community organizations. I also worked with children at the Ronald McDonald House and secured a Hershey’s Heartwarming Project Action Grant to fund our supplies and outreach.
